On-Screen Alerts
Menuboard Manager displays on-screen alerts when your unit needs attention. Below are the most common alerts and how to resolve them.
No Internet Connection
Your unit is not connected to the internet.
Steps to fix:
Press MENU on the remote control.
Go to System > Network.
Check your network connection — it is likely offline.
Take steps to connect your unit to the internet.
Reboot the unit or relaunch Menuboard Manager.
Missing Media
Your unit is missing its media and is not connected to the internet.
Steps to fix:
Press MENU on the remote control.
Go to System > Network.
Check your network connection — it is likely offline.
Take steps to connect your unit to the internet.
Reboot the unit or relaunch Menuboard Manager.
Empty Playlist
Your sign has no media in the playlist.
Steps to fix:
Log in to Menuboard Manager.
Go to the associated presentation.
Add media to the presentation.
Publish your sign.
Network Connection Alert (Email Notification)
You can set up an email notification that alerts you when a unit has been disconnected from the network for 1 hour or 24 hours. The notification is sent to the owner of the unit automatically when a connection issue is detected.
Contact Menuboard Manager support to enable this feature for your account.
Installation Complete
If your display is showing an Installation Complete screen, the unit is not yet provisioned in the system.
Steps to fix:
Scan the QR code on the screen.
Load the associated web page and start a support chat.
The support team will provision your unit.
