Installing Menuboard Manager on Legacy Samsung TIZEN Displays

These instructions apply to Samsung TIZEN display models PM-F, PM-H, PH-H, QM-R, and QM-R-A.

Fresh Installation

  1. Press the Home button on the Samsung remote.

  2. Go to URL Launcher Settings.

  3. If URL Launcher is not listed, press Source, then HDMI, then navigate to Menu > System > Play Via and select URL Launcher instead of Magic Info.

  4. Enter the URL provided by Menuboard Manager support and select Done.

  5. Return to the Home page and select URL Launcher.

  6. Menuboard Manager will install and load automatically.

  7. When installation finishes, "Installation Complete" appears along with an activation code.

  8. Go to menuboardmanager.com and start a support chat to activate the unit.

Reinstalling the App

Use this procedure if the app is behaving unexpectedly or you need to start fresh.

Step 1: Check the System Date & Time

An incorrect date or time can prevent a successful installation. Go to Menu > System > Time and correct the settings if needed.

Step 2: Confirm Internet Connectivity

An active internet connection is required. If the display is not connected, go to Menu > Network > Network Settings and follow the prompts.

Step 3: Uninstall the Existing App

Go to Home > URL Launcher Settings (or App Management) > Uninstall and follow the prompts to remove the current installation.

Step 4: Reinstall

Go to Home > URL Launcher Settings (or App Management) > Install Web App (or Install Custom App), enter the URL provided by Menuboard Manager support, and follow the prompts to complete the installation.

If issues persist after reinstalling, contact support at menuboardmanager.com.
