Real-Time Order Confirmation
An order confirmation board displays orders on screen as they are keyed into the point-of-sale system, giving customers a visual record of their order. This improves accuracy and the overall customer experience — especially in drive-thru applications — but works on any screen running Menuboard Manager.
Northstar POS Setup
Order confirmation with Northstar POS is a full API integration and offers the most flexibility with layout, colors, and order data.
Add the location into the Northstar POS system.
Enable the POS integration in Menuboard Manager for that location.
Enter the Instance Name, Customer Access Token, and Site ID for the location.
Create a presentation for the order confirmation board.
On the Order Confirmation tab, update the default styling to match your customer's specifications.
Toast POS
Order confirmation with Toast POS works via Toast Flex as a video extension. The display cannot be customized — it is constrained to what Toast POS outputs — but works reliably out of the box.
