The Finder, Bookmarks, and Trash

When you first log in to Menuboard Manager, you land on the Finder page. The Finder is the file directory where you organize your signs, presentations, media, schedules, and price sheets.

Navigating the Finder

  • Double-click a folder to open it.

  • Use the back button to return to the previous location.

  • The breadcrumbs across the top show your current location and provide additional navigation.

  • The buttons on the left-hand side filter the view to show all files or only a specific type: signs, presentations, media, schedules, or price sheets.

Moving Items to the Trash

  1. Select the item(s) you want to delete.

  2. Click the Delete button.

Items moved to the Trash remain there for 100 days, then are automatically purged. To empty the Trash immediately, click Empty Trash.

Restoring from the Trash

If you accidentally deleted files or folders, you can restore them to their original location.

  1. Click Trash in the bottom-left of the Finder.

  2. Select the items you want to restore.

  3. Click the Restore button in the top-right.

After restoring files, you may need to re-publish the affected signs. Signs may still be displaying deleted versions of your content, so re-publishing ensures they update with the restored files.
