Publishing Presentations

Publishing sends your presentation content to the display(s) assigned to a sign. The Publish button is available in two places:

  • The Sign page — Click Publish in the top toolbar of the Sign page to publish all presentations assigned to that sign.

  • The Presentation Editor — Click Publish in the top toolbar while editing a presentation to publish that specific presentation's sign.

Both locations open the same publish dialog with identical options.

How to Publish

  1. Open the Sign page by double-clicking a sign in the Finder, or open a presentation in the Presentation Editor.

  2. Click the Publish button in the top right corner of the toolbar.

  3. Choose a publish type from the pop-up (see options below).

  4. Click Publish to confirm.

Publish Options

  • Publish Now — sends the presentation to displays immediately.

  • Stage Now — stages the changes to the account but does not push to displays yet.

  • Publish Later — schedules the presentation to go live at a specified date and time.

  • Stage Later and Publish Later — stages the changes at one date and time, then publishes to displays at another.

  • Unpublish — cancels a scheduled future publish.

Excluding Units

Use Exclude Units to prevent specific displays from receiving a publish. This is useful when you want to push changes to most displays but hold one or more back temporarily.
