Menuboard Manager has launched a suite of free tools at menumagik.ai to help operators set up their displays faster, design better menus, and connect their POS data without manual work.

All tools are available at no cost. A quick one-time registration (name and email) is required before your first use of each tool. No Menuboard Manager login is required to access them.

Toaster converts your Toast POS export into a ready-to-import Menuboard Manager field list CSV. Instead of manually copying POS IDs from your Toast back-office one by one, you upload your Toast data, type the item and modifier names you want on your boards, and Toaster resolves the correct POS IDs automatically.

Upload Toast CSV or JSON

Both file formats from Toast are accepted:

Upload one or several files at once. Each uploaded file appears as a labeled pill tag showing the file name and row count. Click × on a pill to remove a file.

Autocomplete lookup

As you type an item or modifier name in the field builder table, Toaster suggests matching names from your uploaded data. Press Tab or Enter to accept a suggestion. Once a name resolves to a single match, the POS ID column fills automatically with a green border confirmation.

Modifier Parent Filtering

This is Toaster's most important feature for menus with shared modifier groups.

Toast modifier groups — for example, "Cup Size" or "Add-On Protein" — are often attached to multiple parent menu items. Without filtering, searching for "16oz" may return that modifier ID for every item it belongs to. Toaster's Modifier column lets you specify the parent item name to filter results to exactly the right match.

Example: type Add Whey Protein in the name column and Smoothie in the Modifier column — Toaster returns the modifier ID specifically for the Smoothie, not for any other parent item it may be attached to.

Merge with existing fields

Upload your current Menuboard Manager fields CSV to the right-side panel and Toaster merges your existing rows with your new ones in a single output file — so you don't have to rebuild from scratch every time you add fields.

Deduplication

If a new field name matches an existing master field, Toaster automatically appends a number (Latte (2)) instead of overwriting the original.

Export

Click Download CSV to export a complete, formatted CSV ready to import directly into Menuboard Manager → Fields.

The tool runs a two-step AI process: first it extracts a structured design brief from your reference images and prompt; then it generates a complete styled HTML menu board using that brief plus built-in professional menu design principles (menu engineering psychology, typography hierarchy, QSR digital menu board standards). Total generation time is typically 20–40 seconds.

Export for Canva

Downloads the full menu board as a layered PDF. Open it in Canva to make text edits, update prices, and add branding without rebuilding the design.
