If the screen brightness is more than you desire, you can set the screen to dim its backlight based on the ambient light in the space or on a schedule. This setting is available on late-model Samsung displays. for example Samsung DM55-B and newer.
To enable screen Brightness Reduction (auto-dim based on ambient light):
Press MENU
Go to Power & Energy Settings
Enable Brightness Reduction
To enable Screen Lamp Schedule:
Press MENU
Go to Power & Energy Settings
Enable Brightness Reduction
Select Screen Lamp Schedule
Set a schedule based on day(s) and time(s)
