Samsung OH Series Display Setup

Connecting Ethernet

If you recently purchased a Samsung OH-Series display, follow these steps to connect it to the internet before provisioning.

Step 1: Open the Weather-Proof Data Panel

Open the weather-proof data panel on the back of the display using a star screwdriver. The panel protects the display from outdoor elements, so handle it carefully.

Step 2: Feed the Ethernet Cable

With the panel open, locate the Ethernet port and feed your Ethernet cable into the panel. Avoid pinching the cable when replacing the panel cover to maintain the weather-proofing seal.

Step 3: Connect the Ethernet Cable

Connect the Ethernet cable to the RJ45 (LAN Out) port. This gives the display internet access. Leave the HDBaseT port unused.

Step 4: Power On the Display

Power on the display using the Samsung remote control.

Step 5: Press HOME

Press the HOME button on the remote control to navigate to the main menu.

Step 6: Go to Network Connection

From the main menu, select Network Connection.

Step 7: Run a Network Test

Inside the Network Connection menu, run a Network Test to confirm the display is connected to the internet and to troubleshoot any connectivity issues.

Step 8: Close the Weather-Proof Panel

Once the connection is confirmed, close the weather-proof panel on the back of the display to protect it from outdoor elements.
