  1. How to Connect Your Samsung OH-Series Display to the Internet

If you have recently purchased a Samsung OH-Series display, you may be wondering how to connect it to the internet. This is an important step in order to access online content and take advantage of the display's full capabilities. In this article, we will guide you through the process of connecting your display to the internet.

Step 1: Open the Weather-Proof Data Panel

The first step is to open the weather-proof data panel on the back of the display. You will need a star screwdriver to do this. Make sure to use a weather-proof panel to protect the display from any outdoor elements.

Step 2: Feed the Ethernet Cable

Once the panel is open, you will see the Ethernet port. Take your Ethernet cable and feed it into the panel properly. It is important to avoid pinching the cable when putting the panel cover back on to maintain weather-proofing.

Step 3: Connect the Ethernet Cable

Next, connect the Ethernet cable to the RJ45 (LAN Out) port. This will allow your display to access the internet. The other port (HDBaseT) will not be used.

Step 4: Power on the Display

Using the Samsung remote control, power on the display. This will allow you to access the display's settings and make necessary changes.

    Step 5: Press HOME

Once the display is powered on, press the HOME button on the remote control. This will take you to the main menu.

Step 6: Go to Network Connection

In the main menu, go to Network Connection. This is where you will be able to connect your display to the internet.

Step 7: Run a Network Test

In the Network Connection menu, run a Network Test to ensure that your display is connected to the internet. This will also help you troubleshoot any connectivity issues.

Step 8: Close the Weather-Proof Panel

Once you have successfully connected your display to the internet, close up the weather-proof panel on the back of the screen. This will protect your display from any outdoor elements.

Congratulations! You have successfully connected your Samsung OH-Series display to the internet. Now you can enjoy all the online content and features that your display has to offer.

If you encounter any issues during this process, please refer to the display's user manual or contact Samsung customer support for further assistance.

We hope this article has been helpful in guiding you through the process of connecting your display to the internet.
