Pairing Amazon Signage Stick with Mobile App

Download and install the Amazon Signage Mobile App

Getting the App

Download and install the Amazon Signage Mobile App — it requires iOS 14 or later (App Store) or Android 11 or later (Google Play).

For first-time setup, log in with your Amazon account — this automatically creates a company/organization. For subsequent Sticks, use the same Amazon account as your previous setup.

Setting Up Sticks

Power on your Stick(s) and plug them into a power source. You can connect them to displays now or later — for multi-stick deployments you can plug multiple Sticks into a power strip, complete setup for all of them from the app, and then attach them to screens afterward.

Tap "+" in the app to scan for Sticks within Bluetooth range that haven't been set up yet. Then configure Wi-Fi and CMS settings. On iOS, make sure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network the Sticks will use. On Android, simply select the desired network from the list.

Once setup completes and you see the "Got it" message, your Stick will automatically update and install your chosen CMS — this can take up to 10 minutes.

Profiles

You can create custom profiles to avoid re-entering network credentials and CMS selections every time you add additional Sticks — very useful for deploying multiple units across locations.

Ongoing Device Management

From the homepage, select a location from the list (or "Unassigned" for ungrouped Sticks), then tap a Stick to manage it. Tap the circular remote control icon in the bottom right to open the virtual remote.

The virtual remote lets you navigate the Stick's Settings menu — useful for changing Wi-Fi, pairing a physical remote, rebooting, or resetting. From the app you can also restart or factory reset any Stick without being physically present at the display.

Locations

Locations are a way to organize your Sticks into groups — by function, department, or campus, for example. They're just tags; adding, removing, or renaming them won't affect a Stick's configuration or content. Sticks without a location are designated "Unassigned," which is a default that can't be deleted or modified.

Monitoring Status

The app's home screen shows device status — online or offline — for all your Sticks. Note that status updates may take a few moments to reflect due to network traffic.

Recent Features

The app has also added Compact Mode (shows more Sticks at a glance) and Dark Mode for easier viewing in low-light environments.
