Tags are applied to Units and work in conjunction with Groups. You add tags to units to bring them into a group. But first, you need to have the tags. The Tag Manager enables you to add or remove tags from Menuboard Manager. Click Add to create a tag, then give it a name. To remove tags, select the tag and then click Delete.

Tagging units enables you to group 1 or more units for publishing content to 1 or more units at once. Tagging units is done in Unit Management on a unit-by-unit basis. Units can also be tagged using mass actions in the Reporting app.
