How to set up and run Micros POS integration in Menuboard Manager

Micros Integration

Setup

  1. Export a JSON file from Micros containing SKUs and associated prices for all menus.

  2. Upload the JSON file to the Menuboard Manager secure S3 bucket. This can be automated via script — contact support to discuss options.

  3. Set up the location in Menuboard Manager with POS integration enabled, specifying the name of the JSON file. (This is typically completed by the Menuboard Manager team during onboarding.)

Entering POS IDs

  1. Go to the Content Manager app (click the nine-dots icon).

  2. Double-click a presentation to edit it.

  3. Go to the Fields tab.

  4. Enter the Micros SKU for each field.

  5. Click Publish to publish the presentation.

Running Micros Integration

  1. Go to the Integration app (click the nine-dots icon).

  2. Select the location(s) you want to run integration for.

  3. Click Preview to preview price changes — the integration runs and displays updates in the manifest column on the right.

  4. Click Update to update price sheets for the selected location(s). Displays will not refresh automatically — power them off and on, or use Update and Publish to update and refresh simultaneously.

Scheduling Integration

  1. In the Integrations Manager, select the locations you want to schedule.

  2. Click Preview, then Schedule.

  3. Set up your preferred schedule.
